These were given to me by a family friend who's to old to remember what he's got/used them for. They were a gift so no complaints here but I'm just curious what i was given and what good they are/good for? I live in east Tennessee and plan to fish at norris lake. Also any recommendations on what I would also need. These rods and the reels on them are the only things I own fishing wise aside a some good filet knives. Any recommendations on lures, line, tools, etc is also greatly appreciated!

  1. Ok first one is an old Daiwa spinning reel on a south bend most likely fiberglass rod. Reel most likely worth more than rod. Second is an Abu Garcia reel on another southbend pole. Again Abu is nice gear. Look into servicing both these reels. The last picture you have the legendary zero hour bomb company (zebco) 808 spincasting reel. Not sure of the rod but again by the shield I think southbend. That reel is deadly reliable and has a large following. Again worth restoring and upgrading your rods.
