I got a Shakespeare catch more fish trout rod and reel combo coming in from Walmart.
I already have some pink floating mice tails and powerbait.
Some artificial lures, kastmaster, Thomas, spoons I think.
Also have weights, snapshots, bobbers, hooks, garlic scent liquid,
Need help making a rig for trout fishing in river and creek

Those mouse tails are elite. Use a tiny hook, I’ve even had success with the trout magnet jigs to Pugh I prefer a tiny little mosquito. Hook em through the “white egg portion”. Throw on a bit of weight depending on the current. They float n bob around in the water. Leave em be and absolutely slay. But be careful, as you’ll often gut hook with these, so I would not recommend waiting for them to really get it too long otherwise you’ll be killing or taking home. The dough is always a solid move but there is no avoiding a gut hook and this is really only if you intend to take them home. I dig that Thomas spinner and rooster tail looking yellow one, though those will be the harder catches typically in my experience (you’ll catch other stuff though too!). Please know I’m not a pro, and I’m just sharing what’s worked in my experience. Solid gear though, you should have a good time! Tight lines!
