i recently went to Dick’s sporting goods and grabbed a three pack of fishing lures with intentions to turn them into earrings. i used to fish but it was very brief. i only bought these because i like the way they look. i’ll put a photo of the lure bc idk if the hooks are put in differently depending on brand

WIre cutters or side cutters would snip the hook off at the rubber like scissors through paper
Bolt cutters.
For thinner stuff a decent pair of dykes will work.
