First time fishing and I’m going to Big Bear Lake. Might of went a little over board for my first time but is this a good set up? Aiming to catch bass and trout. Was thinking 10 lb mono with a 4 lb fluoro lead for trout. Also got some power bait and offset shank worm hooks for the bass. Not sure yet if we’re doing shore fishing or boat.

Get some swivels for the spinner baits, otherwise you’ll have a lot of line twist. Replace the lead weights with ones you can take them off of your line easier.
