Could I still use it or wait till I get my replacement to repair the wrap that holds my guide in place since it’s one of my favorite rods I own

Looks like just the laminate. Fill it with UV epoxy.

I would ‘whip’ some old braid around that then paint a little superglue or epoxy on it.

You can also buy some ultra thin super glue. Just touch the tip of the pipette to the crack and the glue will get sucked right in. Epoxy is probably the better route but I haven’t had any problems with the super glue.
