There's a business park near me that has a pond with bluegill and decent-sized bass. I've fished from the shore a bunch of times but it's almost impossible to fish one side of the pond because of the dense trees. On the weekends, the only activity in the business park is Amazon delivery trucks driving by (there's a big warehouse here). I can't help but be tempted to drop my kayak in and get to the spots I've never fished before. What do you all think? Worth the possibility of someone calling the police?

  1. If nobody’s complained about you fishing there i dont think theyd complain about a kayak

If there’s no signage on the road(s) or around the pond, and there’s legit parking, I would definitely go for it.

ETA: There’s always a chance someone is going to call law enforcement, even if it’s clear you’re doing something legit. The question here is, *if* you’re contacted by law enforcement, is your activity/presence okay? The absence of signage in and of itself doesn’t make it okay, but at least you have the defense there was no indication that it isn’t allowed.
