Has anyone tried tying glass beads onto their rigs? I was emptying out an old bead box to use as a tackle box and I couldn't help but notice some of the beads looked a lot like what I've seen in the bait shops.
I mostly fish for bass, but being in Florida we're bound to catch everything from bluegill to gators. I just recently started fishing and now I've got the fever.
I attached a picture of what I'm talking about when I say glass beads. I know some people use them on Carolina rigs to protect the knot and hook, but I'm talking about using them as a lure – maybe a couple on the line before tying on the hook.
To catch the fish, you must think like a fish, and if I was a fish I'd probably eat these glass beads.
