I've been fishing all my life and just moved to Bradenton Florida. I went to Long boat pass and tried to get my bait out far but was having trouble casting where I wanted the bait to go. I was using a Carolina rig and I think that was an issue as well. The weight would fly but the bait go a different direction causing it to slow down. What rigs is best for long casts with live bait like a pin fish? Is it even possible to throw live bait that far? This is pictures of my set up. I know the reel is cheap. Does anyone know anything about this pole?
