Got this as my first baitcasting setup
7’1 ML Californian Rod 1/8oz-3/4oz
Daiwa Fuego CT 7.3:1 spooled with 10lb mono

I throw a lot of ned rigs, BFS sized Texas rigs, and smaller moving baits like underpins with my ML rod. Throwing something with a stouter hook for example a fluke on a 4/0, I like my M or MH rods.

Paddle tails like you got on there, wacky/texas rig senkos, shaky heads, under spins and regular spinners, tubes, poppers, top water walking baits. That’s all stuff I’d feel comfortable throwing on the 10lb mono you have on there. 1/4-3/4oz is a pretty versatile rating you’re probably more limited to the things you can’t throw on it honestly.
