I've always wanted to fish and i finally pulled the trigger.
my target are mackarels in the north east of england.
i have no idea.
i got this, a swiss knife, and a net.
What time should i go to the pier? before sunrise? 9 am?
do i need a disgorger?
a feather rig?
help!

alright. first, get a fishing license. find your local spots, lakes, rivers, ect. even a fishing club. start with live baits, and once you get comfortable, you can start using lures. dont dive in straight away, just get the essentials. a swiss knife is fine, but invest in some pliers to remove the hooks. if you’re looking for mackerel, go around sunset and use some small sardines (fresh,not canned).
