I never post on reddit or anything but I need some help. I am trying to get into ocean fishing more, and my dad gave me his old setup. I have an old Diawa Regal-Z 4000T Reel in great condition, but the spool he accidentally broke a while ago. He ordered a replacement Diawa long casting spool but It doesnt seem to fit. I can screw on the drag cap but it always gets stuck, and the spool seems to be sitting too high on the reel as well (first photo)

I cant seem to find just the spool anywhere, and I could just go ahead buy this whole reel off of ebay, but I was wondering if there were any other spools out there that I could buy that are compatible with this reel. Thanks!
