So I just started trying to bass fish, this is lake Orlando, the whole shore line is vegetation, especially grass and Lilly pads which I thought was golden for bass. I’ve tried mainly frogs and Texas rigged senkos and worms, both weightless and weighted. I’ve also tried top water baitfish lures, weightless Texas rigged flukes, lost a few rat l traps and swimming lures that aren’t weedless. I usually will cast on the Lilly pads, next to them, past them, in front of them, and I haven’t even felt a bite or seen much action when I’m using a top water or weightless on vegetation, I’ve swam the worms, twigged them, basically everything. Is it just the time of year and it’s too hot in Florida? I’d usually try around 9-10 am or 5-7 pm
