I wouldn't say I'm a beginner but I certainly wouldn't say I'm a "Good" fisherman either. Either way I've learned a lot from this sub and I have been seeing some improvement in the number of fish I'm pulling in. I've been a fairly casual fisherman for over 30 years and I'm really trying to up my game.

I am planning a week long canoe trip down the lower Wisconsin river and plan to fish for as many different species as possible along the way. With that goal in mind, I am bringing four rods.

Eagle claw pack-it telescoping combo
8lbs mono

Uglystick gx2 6'6" /gx2 30 combo
14lbs fluorocarbon

Berkeley fusion 6'6" / 13 Creed x 3000
20lbs braid / 14 lbs fluorocarbon leader

Shakespeare tiger 7' spinning combo
40lbs braid / 26lbs mono leader

I can't afford other rods or reels so this is what I have to work with. I set each one up for different species or situations in mind. I may put a lighter line on the eagle claw. Do you feel like these combinations are appropriate?
