After last fishing trip, the guide must have fallen out of this eyelet on my rod, it's the second eyelet on the rod. Can I keep fishing as is or would I be better clipping off the whole eyelet? Ideally I would get a new rod but idk if it's in the budget for me right now and I have a beach trip coming up this coming week. Thanks!

Take some super fine grit sandpaper and make sure the inside of the eye is super smooth and has no rough edges and you’ll be fine.
A local shop may repair this cheaply. If it were me I’d remove the guide completely. It’s part of the line reduction so you may have some problems casting occasionally, but I’d rather have line trouble casting than this guide causing damage to the line and breaking off.
