Just got this reel from bass pro a few days ago. makes that noise while reeling. have already switched the line and it still makes that dragging kinda noise. also sometimes puts line on the bottom part of the reel while retrieving. any help is appreciated

It’s possibly the braid rubbing on the metal when you reel. What brand braid did you use?
