My dads actually caught big northern pike on similar lures its one of those throw out before your about to go home things for him

I have caught tons of bass and pike on those, mostly in frog color. It’s cool to have it in original package, but I doubt it is gonna ever be really valuable in your lifetime. They made lots of them, and I don’t know if they would be highly collectible. I’ve seen some in antique stores, not in box, for 20 bucks. Even if you double or triple that price for being in a box, it isn’t gonna be much money. It really depends on your preference, if you like it, keep it, if you aren’t into collectibles, then go catch a fish with it.

Hooks are trash compared to what we get today on a brand new devil’s horse. Keep it packaged. New old stock packaged baits are getting harder and harder to find.
