Just started fishing this summer, still figuring things out. An older fella gave me a handful of these soft lures a few weeks ago and when I finally tried them out today, I hooked 5 pike almost back to back (only landed 2) within an hour. I'd love to buy some more of the same since I already lost 1 today and expect more to follow.
It's about 4 inches long and has a slot along the top, about 1/8" wide and maybe 1/2" deep. I assume (please correct me if I'm wrong) that the slot helps hide the hook for presentation?
