Picked up this combo today. Bought it for the reel, and price was more than fair. Anyone have any info on the rod? Its a Daiwa Eliminator model ELM472M, 6'4" extra heavy, 3/4 – 4 oz, 15 – 40 lb line. I assumed it was a casting rod but could be a boat rod. Seems to be in good shape. Just wondering if its worth keeping.

No info on rod, but how the hell do so many people keep finding Abu Ambassadors at flea markets? Where are these markets? Where I’m at a 20-25 year old C4 5600 would go for $75-$100 when a new one goes for $180.
