Picked up this combo at local pawnshop and couldn’t pass it after some haggle I got it for $110, not easy to bump in to left handed baitcaster if not looking for one.. I’ve been fishing all my life 40 or so years and standard spin was always my choice.. trying to cast this bitch correctly ain’t easy, wow!
perhaps too stiff, Any thoughts? Either way will be great addition to my collection until i put time in it to perfect it I guess.

Yeah that rod is heavy AF, it’s probably not happy at all below 1/2oz.
Look up videos on tuning. Adjusting ur tension and braking system to your liking makes a world of a difference. Spool it up and throw some weights on the end to get used to it and how to work your thumb, know when to grip down etc. Hope this helps.
