Hello everyone ! Wondering if I can have some advice regarding what battery I need for my minnkota (endura c2) I use it for kayak fishing and ended up getting a super start 350CCA. My buddy told me that these batteries are not recommended for long term use. I used mine yesterday for about 2 hours with no issues. My question is, is this a good battery for long term use ? For example, could I use this for a 4 hour kayak fishing trip ? Or should I just get a bigger battery? I just feel like those bigger batteries are over kill and super heavy. I’ll attach a picture of the current battery I have and the one I was thinking of getting.

You need a deep cycle/Marine battery for the motor.
The one you have will work, until it’s drained so low it never charges again.
