Doesnt give nearly enough. Is this a pond? A river? Start casting a worm and bobber see what species are here, unless you already know and then narrow down your bait. Literally a million different ways to fish this. Walk the bank look for structure.

  2. I’d prop up a lawn chair, throw out a nightcrawler on a bobber, and spark that fish whistle. Beautiful view

Well as we have similar small lakes wile fly fishing in patagonia the number 1 option will be from a boat and then we can discuss what kind of rod. Etc. the best will be a fly rod and try to catch some fish rising with an imitation of an is vet of the moment. If there is no fish rising. Look for them near the bottom with a sinking line. Or try si estructure to cast for them like the reeds or maybe is some flat water near the edge. Good luck from Bariloche, Argentina.

  4. I’m still a newbie myself, but usually when I try a new spot I tend to throw out a nightcrawler or red worm on a hook and see what panfish bites to figure out likely food sources for bass and other predatory fish. Then I usually just start tying on random lures (usually an in-line spinner like a rooster tail or a mepps) to start with and then work my way through the rest of the tackle box. the days I’m not getting much action I like to think of as practice sessions with working on better familiarizing myself with my lures and practicing my retrieves.
