I got this today on Facebook marketplace for $25. Looking for a good medium action rod to pair with it. I'm going to be doing weightless Texas rigs and things like that. Trying to keep it under $100

Berkley Lightning Rod. I have a Shimano Sedona C3000HG on one and absolutely love it.

Berkley lightning rod is a solid pick, soft tip and good backbone. It leans towards moderate fast though. Sits at the $55-$60 price point depending on where you get it. Has some minor QC issues.
You can also go with a daiwa aird x. It’s brown and gold so matchy match but also a lot stiffer. They used to be $40 but prices have risen up to $50-$60.
Alternatives include the dobyns colt. Good rod, backweighted for balance. Nice action, good components. It’s also normally $80-90 but on sale on Amazon if you have prime right now. The cl692sf specifically is $48.71. (6’9″)
Dobyns maverick is ALSO on sale on Amazon. The 6’9″, and the 7’0″ version. The difference is a slight upgrade in components (guides) but that’s about it. Blank is the same material. Great balance, pretty sensitive, comfy grip. On sale for $60 for both as opposed to the normal $100.
$100 even would be the shimano slx. VERY sensitive and light rod. Downsides is that it’s extra fast, so really good for single point hooks and sensitivity but loses some versatility and doesn’t feel great with moving baits. Accurate as hell too. They also offer a 6’9″ and 7’0″. Soft tip but tremendous backbone.
