Line bunching up towards the top of the spool not laying flat on reel. Penn Pursuit IV
Line lays mostly on top of spool. I want to know which exact part I need to order to fix it. Is it both or would I just need one of these ? I am pretty sure this is the part but if I am wrong please lmk.

Umm, I think you circled the drag. You want a spacer under your spool.
Honestly, it’s just a spacer. Odds are you can find something that fits at home depot or even cut your own plastic part.

are you trying to say the line doesn’t reel evenly on the spool and is top heavy, so to speak? if so, you need to add a washer or two on top of part 8a. look in the box it came in. manufacturers often include washers for this purpose.
edit: the parts you’ve circled are part of the drag stack. adding or removing anything from there won’t be helpful.
