Just started fly fishing a few weeks ago, only landed two decent rainbow since then. Still learning as there’s so much to know with the fly world. I’ll be hitting the S fork boise before sunrise tomorrow and just looking for tips to better my odds of getting a hog!

Flows are still pretty high unless you are fishing from a boat. Access will be better once flows drop more. There is other rivers in the area that have better opportunities this time of year. Idaho angler has a really good fishing report which can give you ideas on what to use and other fishing locations in the area
