Catching wild Rainbows has long been a dream for me. I never thought I’d accomplish it in New Jersey, much less catching all 3 trout species in one creek. A couple weeks ago I bought a cheap vise from my local fly shop and started learning how to make a caddis and a foam caddis pattern. I know I have a lot to learn but I am so proud of myself for catching all of these trout on homemade flies! Tight lines y’all!

That’s really good, especially on your own fly that you tied. I used to do a lot of Fly Fishing many years ago in Sussex County and Hunterdon County in New Jersey.
