Also he said he’s had it for two years but i saw it in person and it looks to be in fine condition except for that one missing piece you should be able to see in the vid, as for the missing piece, is it important and what is it?

That’s the spool tension knob. Definitely not something I would want to be without. I would not buy this. That part is important to set the spool play. It’s going to struggle with linelay.

no, i would not buy this reel. the piece that is missing actually matters. it is how you adjust the tension on your spool, which is one of the main ways you combat backlashes.
