My family has always been into fishing and I'm of course no different. I have this reel that was passed to me as the third generation to own (and fish with) it. I always wondered exactly what make/model this reel is but I've never been able to find anything that matches.
Unfortunately there are no brand names, logos or any markings on anything in this reel… the only mark says "JAPAN", on top a sticker saying "drag", and the handle has "A70401-2", which I assume is a part number. While doing maintenance and cleaning I opened it several times and there is no marking or anything else in there as well.
Anyone here has any ideas?
