Any opinions on this lil guy? My fiance and I are flying out to Denver for our honeymoon and I was wanting to get us some telescopic rods for backpacking Incase we hike near a lake or pond! Do these hold up or should I go with a different telescopic? Trying to keep it sub 75$

Can’t speak to this one but Eagle claw has a $20 collapsible pole that has lasted me over 2 years of backpacking and hiking. I actually just returned from a fishing/hiking trip in Colorado and it’s still holding up like brand new. I absolutely thought I would be replacing it after my first trip but it’s been very solid. Can’t recommend enough.

I personally would absolutely give it a shot if it is around 30 bucks. Toss it in my bag on trips and check off some spots.

Haven’t tried out that one yet, but I just recently picked this telescopic “pen” rod off amazon for $20 (CAD) for my son as a joke. Well we took it out last Saturday and Sunday and he outfished me with it! Over the course of those two days he brought in at least 10 bass around a pound to pound and a half and it held up great. We did change out the line though, the stuff it came with was no good. No clue how long it will last but seems decently built and the reel functions with no issues and casts pretty far too.
