two three way swivels, 4 cut lines to lengths of your desire just make sure the two with hooks will sit above the weight and are at different lengths from each other, length depending on where your fishing, use a heavier flouro on the hook lines to prevent knots aswell as a heavy line for the weight, one three way attaching the hook to the main line, hook, and tag line going down, second one from tagline going down to hook to weight. then use leeches worms are anything your heart desires.

  2. you do that by making dropper loops and then you open the loop so you have a line that you can then tie your hook onto. or you don’t even need to cut open the dropper loop you can just attach the hook to the loop.

  3. If your doing double drop shot. Gonna do two Palomar knots for the hooks and overhand knot for the weight

I refer to 2 hooks as a chicken rig

One hook and a weight are hi lo rigs.

Really doesn’t matter the name. Just learn how to tie dropper loops and you will be all set.

  5. You can use a dropper loop knot or a surgeons loop knot to make dropper loop rigs. Usually I tie another loop at the bottom for swapping out weighs. Usually I use a weaker doubled overhand knot to create the bottom loop incase my weight snags I can get my whole rig back minus the weight.

The rig can be made with heavier weight line with smaller loops and you can use pre rigged hooks that are snelled with lighter line. You can just use a loop to loop knot for that. The stiffer line keeps the loops perked up a bit more and helps reduce tangles. You can also adjust and swap out hooks without affecting the rest of your rig.

Or you can use lighter line, tie your loops big, and then clip the base of one side of the loop to have a longer offshoot to tie hooks to directly.
