One of my favorite lures! Mine are barely recognizable anymore due to all the pike smashing them. I need to grab some new ones, haha. I have also caught a couple clams.

Fishing fresh water? We have fw mussels in my lake in S. Jersey. I’ve never hooked one, but see the shells on the waters edge every Winter when they lower the lakes. The bigger birds eat them like crazy. (Blue heron and ospreys for example). Also beavers.
