What y’all spooling y’all’s reels with? What’s yalls comfort when in it comes to fishing lines. Been going through it lately where my leader is breaking above the knot when setting hooks, on bigger fish specifically. My leaders are usually like 10ft long connected to 30lb braid on a MH set up. Just the other day I had a big fish break off using 20lb copoly leader. Talk to me, Am I setting the hook too hard? The hooks im using are 4/0 beast and 5/0 Hayabusa Worm for scat style baits.
