Used 1 cup flour, 1 cup corn meal, a tablespoon of sugar and water, then boiled them for 3 minutes. I’m fishing for common carp

  1. Not quite round, as long as they are firm enough then it is ok. Don’t know if you encounter crayfish or fresh water lobster.

  2. It’s tough to tell from the pics alone, but your mix looks way too soft and doughy. A boilie needs to be tough enough to endure for 12-24 hours (or more) on the bottom of the lake. It needs to withstand the cast and drop, and then it must be durable enough to survive bites from garbage fish and pests like crayfish.

Personally I wouldn’t be able to fish with a weak mix because even if my bait was still there, I simply wouldn’t have the confidence that it was… and I wouldn’t even know if I was fishing.
