A few years back I went to the Au Sable to fish. It’s been on my bucket list awhile! I’ve fished several places but Grayling was special. This was the nicest I landed all day at 17 inches, but I think I caught 8 or 9 in total. Most in the 9-13 range. Landed on a streamer at the beginning of the Holy Waters section. After that trip I’ve wanted an Au Sable boat! Neat way to navigate smaller rivers.
I have a son that’s a year and a half old, can’t wait to make this a yearly trip with him when he’s able to cast. Probably in another year or so.
