Picked up one of these attached to a 6'6" abu rod for an amazing deal, it cleaned up nice and works great. It is made in Sweden
The only question I have since this is my first time using this reel, does it just not cast far? I have 30lb braid on there right now. I can maybe cast it 20-30yrds if I really tried, taking a guess, but it is about half the distance I get out of my freshwater baitcaster.

Overlined to the max, try taking off about 20 yards.
You need to fill the spool or it’s not going to work well. Honestly it’s not going to work well even when it’s full, but it’s functionally useless with the amount of line that’s on it now.
You realize that thing only has about 10% of the line it needs, right? Right??
