Replaced my 25+ year old GLoomis 5 wt with a new Winston Air 2 5wt.
Planning on fishing with it next week. Tying up some woolly bugers, Pat’s rubber legs and elk hair caddis now.
My wife has recently shown interest in fly fishing so, being the nice husband that I am, I’ve donated a few rod/reel combos to the cause. This left me needing a new 3wt and a new 5wt, fortunately I have filled those voids and these 2 rods will hopefully cover all of my fly fishing needs.
What’s y’all’s experiences with the 9’ Air 2 5wt?

I feel your sickness, I used to buy a new high end rod for myself for birthdays and Christmas every year.
Now I have a bunch of rods packed up waiting to see the light of day. So I decided to fish the crap out of them until they break so I can buy more 🤣
