Picked up some vintage rods and reels and I'm having trouble finding much info on them. I would appreciate any knowledge anyone might have on any of these pieces.

That’s a Martin “tuna can” reel, and the south bend reel is a kind of Pflueger medalist knock off. The other reel is just a basic old fly reel I remember having one of years ago. The square blank is a heavy ass solid chunk of fiberglass. The white Betts looks like a combination spin/fly fiberglass rod, and not sure about the bamboo. Honestly probably not worth fishing a lot, probably heavy and poor action for today’s lines.

I got real deep into classic fiberglass rods. If you really, really, really want to get more information look up Rick’s Rods in Denver, CO. He’s a classic rod dealer, but honestly these aren’t valuable.

The other place to look is an old forum that may be up and running called Fiberglass Fly Rodders. Tons of information on there.

Overall, more fun to look at and hang on a wall than fish.
