They aren’t senko, but they are soft plastic worms, lizards, etc. I bought them off someone and was wondering why they are coated with salt? (Don’t ask how I know it’s salt 👅)

Salt in the bait adds weight and makes it sink faster. I’ve never understood coating a bait in salt since it washes off
