Except 1997 was only about fifteen years ago or so.

I don’t know why, but when you said 30 years ago I thought it was going to be black and white photos or something, and then I looked at the date of ’95 and was like, “Wait, I was alive then.” Then I remembered that I am 40. It was a wild ride.

I’ve got a copy of that book I found in a backeddy on the Deschutes about 25 years ago. Every third or fourth page has a caddis pupa or mayfly larva stuck to it.
