Caught this rainbow a few weeks ago and got some good reference photos of him under water for this painting. Arkansas River Trout, Oil, 20” x 16”.

My son with a very beautiful ice-out lake trout, just before we ate it. It's not uncommon to catch between 3-10 per session up there. Sometimes on special days, we have caught over 20 in 1-2 hours, if we find a school. Posted by gtp1977
