Im just learning how to fish, im going to start with panfish, this is my set up, i need yalls thoughts
Rod is 5ft medium action telescopic
I forgot to buy sinker
I was not Bout to go back to Walmart, I bike so I cant carry long solid rods on me its supposed to be portable
I know about the negatives of telescopic and this may not be top hardware but if I dont get the hang of it I dont want to have spend too much on gear
Totaled around $50 for all

Those swimbaits and the plain hooks are going to be way too big for most panfish.
You want like a size 10-12 Aberdeen hook.
Wow, good setup! I personally target bluegill and use 1/64th jig heads with small crawfish soft plastics. But all aside, good setup.
