What material are they really? All the listings on the chinese sites has them as "nano composite" Do they have lead weights in them? They have this Loading lead weight specification on them and I'm not sure what that means.

  1. I don’t know what material these are, but these are very common in china and other eastern countries. I have couple of them too, they are very pretty. I cut out a part of the video from one such asian guy, where you can see his rig. In here you cannot use 2 hooks, but the rest is fine, you can see the weight and how he connects this type of a float. They use them on Poles instead of usual rods with a reel, but you can use it on a rod with a reel without any issue, but all of these floats have extremely tiny weight rating. Like… 1 gram.. 1.1 gram.. 2 grams.. etc. That’s because they do Not chug them far.. and only use them on the poles, which can be 5.. 6. or even 8 meters long. I put it on imgur [https://imgur.com/a/NgKqR6y](https://imgur.com/a/NgKqR6y)

So the loading lead weight specification you see on them, is like with any other float, the lead you need to use to make it float correctly. Always test it at home if you can so you don’t waste time on the water.
