Had some interesting company yesterday in the Cascades. A couple helicopters did about a dozen bucket runs from the lake we were fishing. It's quite a sight to see up close (though not too close – we steered clear of the area they were filling from). The rotor wash was intense, even at a distance. The fish didn't seem to mind and we were able to net a bunch of cutties and brookies, with a couple rainbow here and there.
