I caught these 3 within my first month fishing i have a lot of largemouth catches but id thought id showcase my smallmouth catches since they are bigger on average, i figured they like a little windblown areas, and spots with subtle differences around rocks, like maybe chunk into gravel or sum like that, but they love tubes, jigs, spinners, ned rigs, drop shots, and wacky rigs. i just wanted any help to catch more, my buddy catches one more than me every time we go fishing and he boasts about it everywhere. we both can only catch about 1 per trip, long trips like 8 hours, although they get really active in lower light. i just want a better understanding on how to fish for smallmouth. i appreciate anyones help thank you very much. its a lake-like resevoir in ny, all these catches were more in summer going into fall, i want to know where to look exactly(resevoir pictures after picture 3)
