After a bunch of research, practice tying knots/getting snagged and 12 hours of nothing over 3 sessions I finally did it! I caught 4 fish! A bit weird, but I hate eating fish and I did not enjoy them lol. Might end up offering them to other people in future.
I live near a pretty heavily populated shallow mud flat on a water front that is heavily fished. Theres nearly always at least 5-15 people 24/7 even at night. Ive never seen amyone ONCE with a fish but its 100m from my home. Im shocked at the variety/amount.
Was amusing I was scared to touch them and had to wear gloves, Im a bit of a city kid/indoors person. I researched the area and was able to identify them which felt like real life pokemon, but wow that snapper shocked me, was so beautiful in the light. I feel like a championship fishermen with trophy fish with my lame little haul 🤣.
Sorry for bad photos, I didnt know how to hold them or if it was safe to and wasnt planning on photos anyways.
