I’ve caught several bass out of this pond, none have a tail that looks like this. Any idea what’s going on!

The bass looks white.. definitely sick

He has been sitting on the nest and fanning it with his tail. Cool story about bass the male protects the eggs after mating, and the female runs off to spread more and increase her offspring survival rates. The male isn’t sick it’s just tired from working the nest. Probably starving too because they don’t eat much during spawn.
