I'm wondering if my Texas rig is correct. I have a small snap for the hook, the action under water with worm and hook is ok. But I wonder if the clicking sound is guaranteed. As you can see, the 1mm leader is tied and fixed in a knot with clamping sleeve. Then I added some cover for the fluorocarbon line which sticks out of the clamp so that my main line doesn't get stuck in there (happens often). Then the transparent pearl is stuck in this cover so that it doesn't move on the leader together with the weight ( so that only weight is moving and it can actually hit the pearl). Also added some stopper above the weight I don't remember why. At the end it is attached to my main line via snapswivel.

My question is, how do I know the sound works? The weight moves freely on the leader but isn't it too thick so that underwater it might get stuck? Should the pearl actually also move freely on the leader?

I use two techniques while fishing with it. First is to harshly drag the rod in my direction and then just reel the leftover line. Second one is that I simply make strong harsh reel in and then stop and continue. Is it correct?
