Hi there everyone. New here. I'm a fly fisherman getting into conventional fishing. I just recently purchased and ultralight setup.
Rod reel combo: Shimano Aeroglass ultralight with IX R1000 reel
My question is, what line setup do you guys recommend? My initial thoughts were braid and leader but not sure if you guys with more experience would recommend that or just run straight mono? If I run braid with a leader, what lbs test for both or if straight mono what lbs test for that? Thanks.
