So, I've heard of people losing rods when they have them in cheap rod stands, so here is my cheaper solution to hopefully buy you some time before a fish makes it off with your (anecdotally $300) setup.
The setup utilizes 3 things, heavy duty tent stake, paracord, and a carabiner. I then tied the paracord to each, though the 3d printed locking carabiner is optional. I considered it ok because my line weight is 15lbs.
Any thoughts?
