

Caught on a brown wulff in Nova Scotia. Thought this was just a brown trout that had just found its way into the Avon River, but I noticed the forked tail and short mouth, and after a little research, I think this is a juvenile landlocked atlantic salmon.
Super stoked because this was what I was hoping to catch in the Avon, but I didn't think I'd get anything in this part of the river, as it's a tributarie in MOFN.
Sound off if I'm totally wrong, but based on the fins, colours, and mouth, I'm thinking I got it right!

Thats a brook trout 100%

I think the V fin isn’t as defined in the pic as it was in person
