Hoping a fellow kayaker has tested this type of situation before. I have a new Malone MicroSport XT Trailer. it was a gift and it came with 2 J-style mounts. I have a hobie outback 12' (98lbs) and a Hobie Passport (65lbs). I was planning on getting the bunk kit for the outback. The question is can i still use the j-style mount for the passport or will that create too much of a weight imbalance?
